A. A. Milne, famed for his creation of Winnie the Pooh, wrote the collection of poems, When We Were Very Young, in 1924 after the birth of his son Christopher. These vocal settings of the poems were composed to celebrate the wonder and whimsy of life as viewed with a childlike perspective.
