As part of the 30th Anniversary celebration of my first collection, A Child’s Garden of Verses, I have added a bonus piece, “Autumn Fires,” to this newly revised edition of Windy Nights and Other Tales, thus making it a quartet of piano solos. Windy Nights and Other Tales follows The Lamplighter in artistic sequence. Various intermediate through late-intermediate pianistic techniques are utilized to explore the imagery and emotions found in Robert Louis Stevenson’s poems.”
