Tepuk Amai-Amai (Clap hands with the ladybugs)

$5.00

This light-hearted, traditional Malay folk song can also be sung as a children’s clapping song.
The playful lyrics depict an older brother or sister comforting their younger sibling while their mother is away at work. The first three sentences picture gentle hand gestures that perhaps mimic the flapping wings of ladybugs, crickets/grasshoppers and butterflies. Phonetic spelling for Malay language pronunciation and the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) are provided along with the option of lyrics in English and background information.
